Cruise ship passenger Deborah Hughes, Esquire, 58,  from Pennsylvania tells us that she was attacked by bed bugs on her Regent Seven Seas Cruises'  Regent Mariner  voyage.

Regent Mariner embarked on April 2, 2012 from Barcelona Spain arriving in Istanbul, Turkey on April 12.

Hughes said she, " received 147 bed bug bites",  while she stayed in cabin 868 aboard Seven Seas Mariner and her husband was, "severely bitten", too.

Cabin 868, according to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises' website, is a Deluxe Suite with "Twin beds that can convert to a European king-size bed, a sitting area, and a private balcony. Other amenities include marble appointed bathroom with full-sized tub, luxurious linens, feather-down duvets, robes and cotton slippers, walk-in closet with safe, luxurious bath products, hair dryer, interactive flat-screen TV with large media selection and refrigerator that's replenished daily with soft drinks, beer and bottled water." The suite is located mid-ship.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises'  acknowledge the bed bugs, saying they found ten bed bugs in the cabin.
